The Town of Fayetteville is welcoming another new business.
 

Although not entirely new to Fayetteville, New River Health Association will open its pharmacy next to their Fayetteville health center location on Oct.11, 2016.

 

Karen Reed, R.Ph.CDE, welcomes the public to stop by between noon and 6 p.m. for light refreshments and information. “We accept everyone at this location,” Reed explained. “We always serve our New River Health patients, but being our patient is not a requirement for using this pharmacy.” 

 

Reed, whose long list of experience includes co-owner of Contact Pharmacy and Staff Pharmacist, Kmart, Beckley. She is also a member of American Pharmacists’ Association, American Association of Diabetic Educators, American Diabetes Association, and WV Pharmacists’ Association.

Karen is active in the community with Quota Club of Beckley and the Beckley Presbyterian Church.

 

The New River Health Fayetteville Pharmacy will be open Monday through Thursday 

9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. and Fridays 9 a.m.-5 p.m.

“We are looking forward to meeting everyone in Fayetteville and surrounding area,” said Reed. “I’m trying to create a hometown atmosphere, something I think people will appreciate in their lives. We will know everyone on a first name basis.”
