Hike with a Grand View Active SWV

Join Active SWV Community Captain Bob Matson and National Park Service ranger for a hike the longest trail at Grandview. The Grandview Rim Trail connects the Main Overlook with Turkey Spur, a moderate 1.6 mile hike (3.2 miles round trip).

Directions:
From I-64, take exit 129 towards Grandview. Turn on Hwy-9N/Grandview Road. Continue for about 5 miles and you will reach the parking lot at the Grandview Visitor Center.

Get Active in the Park programs are powered by volunteer Community Captains and is a partnership between New River Gorge National River and Active SWV to bring free instructional programs as sample activities at a beginner level. The goal is to get more people comfortable and confident exploring the parks around them and to begin a lifestyle of more physical activity. #ActiveSWV #ActiveTrails #NewRiverNPS #GetActiveinthePark
