Don't Trash Where You Splash River Clean-Up
Join the National Park Service and the New River Conservancy for an end of summer river clean-up on Sunday, August 25th.
Meet at the McCreery boat house (off Route 41 near Prince) at 8:30 am or at Glade Creek boat launch at 9 am. We will be on the water by 9:30 am!
Things to bring:
- your own boat if you have one.
- life jacket (required)
- lunch, snacks, and water (the trip will not end until about 4 pm)
- Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty and wet.
Want to participate but don't have your own equipment? We can provide a limited number of boats and life jackets. RESERVATIONS ARE A MUST! Email an RSVP by Aug. 23 if you need equipment or more details. See you on the water!
