A local group will again conduct the annual Winter Bird Count in association with the National Audubon Society. Basic information about the local count in Fayette County:

LOCAL LOCATION & TIME: daylight hours in varied areas of Fayette County, including Fayetteville and Oak Hill (more details to follow from local coordinator)
WHO CAN PARTICIPATE: anyone (advanced and beginner birders are welcome)
WHAT WILL HAPPEN LOCALLY: group will likely meet at Cathedral Cafe in Fayetteville in early morning > small groups will then "bird"/count in multiple locations throughout the day (be prepared for anticipated weather) > then group will meet again in late day to collect data and share stories of the day's adventures (more details to follow from local coordinator)
